After installing BMIDE the participant creates the first customer specific project. The handling of BMIDE with the different perspectives and views will be explained. Special attention is paid to the understanding of the structure of the Teamcenter data model and the purpose of inheritance. The terms Common Business Object and not instantiable will be clarified as well.
Furthermore, the participants are introduced step by step to the creation of business objects, attributes, rule definitions (GRM rules, naming rules, deep copy rules, ...), as well as value lists. After the definition of the data model in BMIDE, the hot- or cold-deploy in Teamcenter will be executed. In this context, error management is also dealt with intensively if the deploy did not work.
