NX offers with the functionallity of the Wave-Geometry-Linker and the Wave-Control-Module possibilities for interpart modeling.
Course number:WWS 1080
Duration:1
Participants:Designer, Engineers, Technicians
Experience:Well-versed creation of Assemblies on base of the Assembly-Constraints and Base knowledge of the course topics
Date:
This workshop will shown these and with practical use cases explain and enhance this. The requirements for this Training are good experience in assemblies as well as modling. Wave structures will basicly created and administrated in in assembly-structures. In a first step such a structure should be created. A following step is the creation of the wave link itself. Beneath the linking option the focus is discussing who is the best linking object. After that with some use cases, e.g. raw- and machine part, Sheet Metal Assemblies, Mirrored-Parts and Control-Structures, the different conceptual approaches of Wave-Link-Structures will be explained, pros and cons will be discussed.
An important issue is repairing a broken wave link, espacially if the source Geometry were changed. Therfore the replacement assistant is a very helpful tool. The second part of the workshop is focused on Analyizing, Administrating and Controlling of Wave-Structures with the Wave-Control-Module (Make sure there is a special license). The main topic is a fast Analyse of existing Wave-Structure and the state of the links. This is especially in complex Wave Structures very important.
