This Training provides a process-oriented overview about the Mold Wizard functionality. First of all the various possibilities will be shown for analyzing and optimizing the product part.

In the beginning of the Mold Design process a new project will be initialized. This step also includes the definition of the Mold Coordinate System and shrinkage. The parting process itself will be practiced in detail with the help of numerous examples. From the Library the Mold Base as well as additional standard parts like sub-inserts, slides, lifters, ejector pins and fasteners are added to the Mold Design structure. Gates, runners and cooling tools are used to complete the Mold Design. A special topic will lead the participant through different change process scenarios. At the end Bill of Material, Assembly and Component drawings are going to be created.
