At the beginning it will be shown the preferences concerning material, Bendparameter etc. which are very important in Sheet Metal design. In order to creating a model the focus is on an parametrical design method. The basis of the NX-Sheet Metal Design is the sketcher tool. Therefore it´s essential to have some experience with this too. Otherwise there is no guarantee for a succesful training participation. Based on the NX-Sheet-Metal-Base-Features it starts with different Bend- and Taper-Features. For further detailing of the Sheet Metal part punching and stabalizing tools will be used. An important aspect is the order of building and detailing features. Also the
Involvement of NX-Modeling Features in Sheet Metal Design with a focusing to flattening a part. In a methodological view it will be talked about the conversion of NX-Modeling-Solids and imported parts to NX-Sheet Metal. Also here the flattening is the main focus. To complete it will be shown how to create Sheet Metal views in the NX-Drafting Application. A further option is an introduction in the advanced Sheet Metal tools. Make sure this is a special license.
