NX Basic Modeling 2

NX Basic Modeling 2

Only in combination with NX Basic Modeling 1

To cover the complete range of NX basic topics, it is recommended to attend the courses NX Basic modeling 1 and 2, as they build on each other in terms of content.

  • Course number:WTR 1002

  • Duration:5 Tage

  • Participants:CAD-Beginners

  • Experience:NX Basic Modeling 1

  • Date:

The second part deals with the generation of product structures by means of assembly functions and drawings suitable for production. As an introduction to assembly design, the master model concept, the basis for many NX application areas (assemblies, CAM, drawings), is presented. Entry into the topic is the creation of assembly structures (top-down, bottom-up, design in context). This includes the effective shoring of parts, their positioning with constraints and the control of the visibility of information using reference sets. Other topics include the creation of arrangements, exploded assemblies, color management and assembly analysis.
The second block deals with drawing creation and working with multiple drawing sheets as well as the generation of different view types. This is followed by the creation of auxiliary and symmetry lines, dimensions, manufacturing information, symbols, labels and tables as well as the use of special functions for assembly drawings. This enables the participant to create product structures and create drawings suitable for production.
