Schönaich, September 30, 2016: Dr. Wallner Engineering GmbH, a long-standing service partner for Siemens PLM products NX and Teamcenter, is continuing its long-term growth strategy. With the acquisition of the Ludwigsburg-based design company Mokon, Dr. Wallner Engineering expands its core business of consulting, adaptation programming and training to include the area of design.

Design is an important strategic area in the company's development - both in the range of the extended product portfolio for customers as well as for internal development and alignment. Due to the integration of the profitable Mokon Moritz Konstruktionen e. K. Dr. Wallner Engineering is able to react even more comprehensively to customer requests from the market. The acquired company specializes in project management and product development from a single source in the CAD environment. The main focus is on the development, design and calculation of components in the automotive, aerospace and thermotechnology sectors and in plant engineering.

As a result of the merger, Dr. Wallner Engineering expects economies of scale and synergy effects in the medium term by focusing on common target markets and customers.
