We are a true family business and our company shares are 100% family owned. I affects the nature of our doing: We think in long-term, well consider our investments and are especially indepentant in making our decisions.

The founder
Dr. Jens Wallner
The passionate motorcyclist grew up in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and started his career in Magdeburg, where he studied Mechanical Engineering and later did a PhD. As newly doctor he started working as presales in the area Unigraphics and Ideas (now NX and Teamcenter) at McDonnel Doglas in 1990, which was later taken over by UGS.
Together with Werner Karp he made the step to self-employment in 1996 and founded the business Janus Computer Graphics GmbH. In december 1999 the hour of birth of Dr. Wallner Engineering GmbH followed. To achive greater reach he collaborated with colleagues from Weyhe, Wiesbaden and Dachau. Together they established the Dr. Wallner Group in 2002.
In 2003 Jens Wallner died from the consequences of a car accident.
Two generations
To build and create something from a passion for the matter - that was the driving force of Dr. Ing. Jens Wallner. He built and shaped the business according to his ideas. After his too early accidential death, Agnes Wallner pushed the company forward following these ideas. Sequences and snapshots of his doings are still part of customers dialogues. As a visionary he founded the Dr. Wallner Group to achive greater reach. Unfortunately this idea couldn't be implemented in the long run. Instead Agnes Wallner achived many other milestones in the history of the company.

Dipl. Ing. Agnes Wallner
Born in Berlin, Agnes Wallner moved to Magdeburg to study Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering. During her studies she met Jens Wallner. To keep sharing her knowledge after finishing her studies, she started as an academic at the Technical University of Berlin.
After moving to the south of Germany the mother of four worked as a technical product designer and design engineer.
Nach dem Tod ihres Mannes übernahm Agnes Wallner 2003 die Geschäftsführung der Dr. Wallner Engineering GmbH. 2024 übergab sie den Staffelstab an ihre älteste Tochter Antje Wallner und verabschiedete sich in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand.
The future
Antje Wallner
Antje Wallner, die älteste Tochter von Agnes und Jens Wallner, wuchs in Baden-Württemberg auf. Nach mehreren Auslandsaufenthalten in den USA und Australien begann sie ihr Studium im Bereich internationales Marketing in Venlo, Holland.
Obwohl sie schon früh als kreativ-helfende Hand zur Verfügung stand, ist sie erst seit 2012 fest im Unternehmen im Bereich Marketing und Kommunikation tätig. 2024 übernahm Antje Wallner zusammen mit Rainer Berger die Geschäftsführung der Dr. Wallner Engineering GmbH, mit dem Ziel, das Unternehmen weiterhin zukunftsfähig auszurichten.
