The participant will learn about the Teamcenter Rich Client application, the Thin Client (Web) and the Microsoft Office integration, but also the ability to apply what he/she has learned. This is followed by an explanation of the purpose of items, revisions, datasets and the creation of product structures, which are practiced using practical examples. The check-in and check-out of data as well as the authorization and organization concept of Teamcenter will be discussed.

The presentation of the various search and viewing options, as well as the use of the classification functionality, enables an efficient introduction to the later operational practice with Teamcenter. The initialization, processing and tracking of workflows round off the topic. The increasingly important point of seamless tracking of changes is taken into account through the use of the Change Manager application. A concluding overall exercise enables a review of the numerous topics covered.
