NX Transfer training

NX Transfer training

This training is for designers who already gained experience with a CAD system. A minimum of design experience is expected.

  • Course number:WTR 1020

  • Duration:5 Tage

  • Participants:CAD-Changers

  • Experience:Experience in a CAD system

  • Date:

First the participants will be guided to familiarize themselves with the user interface of Siemens NX. In addition to the general handling of the CAD system, such as the navigation and display options, the important design methodology (eg. the sketch technique) will be discussed on the first day. The knowledge of the creation of solid bodies such as an extrude or revolve as well as dealing with design feature elements, such as an edge blend or draft, will be intensified along with the sketches on practical exercises. Time saving methods which can be achieved with the help of the associative copy or copy of sketches, will be demonstrated. This also includes user-defined expressions and assembly design with wave links. The participants will also learn about the Bottom-Up and the Top-Down design methodology, as well as the positioning of components in assemblies using assembly constraints. The drawing application in which to create a drawing, to generating views, to dimension the model views as well as adding various symbols and notes are contents of the last day of the training.

After this 5-days training the participant will be able to design parts, is acquainted with different design methods, can handle assemblies and know how to create and edit drawings.
